International Day of Peace at LEA school

Today was the international day of peace! We had a conversation with the children about peace and what it means to them. They had some time to reflect and manifest their ideas in pictures that were drawn on papers as drafts. At a later stage they drew their designs on a cloth that will be held as a banner in Mohammad Shamel school when we come back.

A Sunday with the Roman Army

The Romans are back!!

Nothing like the Romans to complete a great day in Lincoln

Today we witnessed the armoured ranks of the world famous Roman re- enactors – The Ermine Street Guard. They represented soldiers of the imperial Roman army from this period. We saw these soldiers being put through their training under the watchful eye of the Centurion at lincoln's castle arena. We Witnessed the colourful and armed Legionaries and Auxiliaries as they practiced their combat skills, battle tactics and artillery firepower Military skills that made the Roman army a formidable fighting force. Their display of Roman military was completed with a pair of mounted cavalry troopers and some formidable Roman artillery fire power
